Since 2010 the University has been driving down carbon emissions 而且 by 2020/21 had achieved a 42% reduction in scope 1 而且 2 emissions compared with a 2005 baseline. This is significant progress which was driven by our investment in renewable energy, 能源效率和行为改变倡议.

The management of waste has improved significantly since the baseline year 2010. The University also worked to increase the proportion of waste going for recycling, composting 而且 anaerobic digestion through providing a wider range of facilities for segregation into individual recyclable waste streams 而且 corresponding internal bin facilities.
